Learn To Chant The Guru Gita in SanskritThe Sanskrit of the Guru Gita is not only beautiful and captivating - it is also a powerful tool for sadhana - as each syllable is pure mantra. The ancient Vedas revealed that each letter of the divinely-cognized alphabet of the Sanskrit language correlates with a particular petal of each chakra of the human form. So in chanting the Sanskrit, we are able to directly vibrate and enliven the subtle body. We present the Sanskrit Recitation here as an invitation to you to learn how to chant the Guru Gita in Sanskrit. We have taken the approach of having it chanted by a member of the Hard Light sangha (who has a modicum of training in Sanskrit), rather than by a Brahmin priest or Sanskrit scholar, so you may see that chanting in Sanskrit is something anyone can do. Learn to chant the Sanskrit, and you will derive tremendous joy and upliftment from the practice. The Sanskrit transliteration is printed in the full length book of the Shri Guru Gita, and there is also a four page guide to pronunciation. This CD is a companion piece to this book.
