This book is based on a five night Philosophy Class given by Mark Griffin in 1992, entitled The Breath, The Self, The Mirror of the Mind. Each night Mark focused on a different aspect of breathing and the use of SO HAM. As Mark said: "We’ll be looking at the breath and the form of the sound of the breath, the breath and the form of the pranas and the balancing of the prana / apana rhythm of ingoing and outgoing, and the winds that bring this world into creation – those forces that the mind rides upon, and then the breath and the invisible inherent content of subjective and objective reality; how this reality permeates all of experience." It's a wonderful journey watching how this master teacher weaves knowledge and experience, a subject of such subtlety and depth, in a manner so easy for all to understand.
