“We tend to see the same thing over and over again because of these habits and prejudices. These habitual thought-forms are like grooves in our consciousness. Because we’re lazy, we just go down that same groove one more time; and we get tired at the exact same place. We decide to develop our spirituality, and then we get to this one point where we just might have to change; we might have to change the way we are. We’ll have to change. That’s when we decide to get tired, and we stop meditating; things just sort of stay the same.
Right on the other side of that moment, if you’d just stayed sharp that extra second, is a truth you’ve never seen. It’s a truth you’ve never seen. And once seeing it, you’re changed forever.”
