HARD LIGHT CENTER OF AWAKENING
from THE SIX SESSION VAJRA GURU YOGA
Damaging a life, telling a lie, taking what has not been given, engaging in sexual misconduct, and wild, undisciplined behavior are the basis of the five negative actions. Eating meat when it is improper, saying whatever comes to mind without consideration, putting out offerings for ancestors, and sacrificing livestock to make a blood-offering are the forms of offshoot negative acts. Killing cattle, killing children, killing women, killing men, demolishing a basis that represents enlightenment of speech or mind are the five forms of killing. Being attached to sights, sounds, smells, tastes, tactile sensations, are the five forms of longing desire.
All of these are dealt with in the twenty-five types of tamed and involved behavior. I shall safeguard correctly and well against them.
