Going into samadhi for twenty years pumps a lot of light through your consciousness. You untie all your past incarnations, seeing the causes and qualities of this life and past lives.
One of the things that’s really strange is that you always recognize yourself immediately. You look a lot like you look, act a lot like you act, and feel about things in much the same way as you do now. In the same way, you can go back to almost any time and recognize society. Go back twenty, thirty thousand years; all you’d need to do is change clothes and you would recognize the patterns of behavior and fit right in.
It hasn’t changed that much. Why? Why does it take so long to change? Because most people haven’t even gotten to the point of taking responsibility for their own lives. Only in taking responsibility for your life can you begin to change it.
